A long standing interest in archaeology was first established at Kingston University whilst reading for a degree in Human Geography and Environmental Studies between 1992 and 1996.
Securing an administration position at West & Partners (W&P), chartered architects and town planning consultants, in 1998, Andrew developed and enhanced the reputation of the existing practice and started to develop the archaeological side by offering existing clients a range of services. This was enhanced with a Masters degree in Archaeology in 2004 from Birkbeck. After graduating Andrew took the opportunity to establish Isambard Archaeology to offer new and existing clients a greater range of services.
Andrew has worked on a number of projects in Greater London and the South East ranging from single houses to blocks of flats. These have included desk-based assessments which have helped secure planning consent; and watching briefs and evaluations which have been undertaken as a condition of planning consent.
As a Practitioner of the Chartered Institute for Archaeologists Andrew is qualified to lead in the development of archaeological solutions to satisfy planning.
